Scan Profiles & Scope

Built-in profiles include Full Scan, Full Database Scan, Quick Health, Production Essentials, Performance Deep Scan, Security Audit, Integrity & Recovery, Pre-Migration, Pre-Upgrade, and Schema Design Review.

Choose Instance or Database scan level.
Create custom profiles, clone built-ins, and enable/disable individual checks.
Import/export user profiles as JSON for reuse across machines.
The catalog includes 200+ checks across performance, security, configuration, backups, TempDB, HA/DR, query analysis, schema design, and upgrade compatibility.

Findings & Remediation

Browse findings by severity, category, database, and free-text search.
Open a finding for impact details, recommendations, remediation links, and copyable scripts where available.
Suppress, acknowledge, or baseline findings from Settings â†’ Finding Rules when noise should be reduced.

Dashboards & History

Health score, severity/category summaries, critical issues, and key-area health cards.
Instance and database dashboards with inventory context.
Scan history with detail, comparisons, trends, filters, and CSV export.

History Storage

Local JSON â€” default single-machine history store.
SQL Server repository â€” shared history under the xray schema; provision from Settings â†’ Repository.

Reports & Email Delivery

Export findings/reports as CSV, JSON, or PDF.
Configure SMTP settings and operator recipient groups in Settings â†’ Email.
Send assessment reports or test emails directly from the desktop app.
Export folder and retention are configurable under Settings â†’ Storage.
