These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DBLense website, software products, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by DBLense ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Upon purchase, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the purchased DBLense software product(s) on the number of machines specified by your license edition:
Licenses are valid for the period specified at the time of purchase (typically 1 year) and are tied to your user account.

We may offer a free trial period for our products. Trials are limited to one per user per product. Trial licenses have limited features and expire after the trial period. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue trials at any time.
All purchases are processed through Stripe. Prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law, or at our sole discretion within 14 days of purchase if you have not activated the license.
Your license entitles you to receive software updates and bug fixes during your active license period. Major version upgrades may require a separate purchase or renewal.
Our software may collect anonymous usage telemetry to improve product quality. No SQL query content, database data, or personally identifiable information is collected by the desktop applications. See our Privacy Policy for details.
The Service and all associated intellectual property rights are and remain the property of DBLense. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand features.
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your license rights cease immediately.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DBLENSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DBLense operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
